had a 90 gallon reef tank. my last addition was to be my center piece fish. a beautiful majestic. the second that fish hit the water it went to town on my xenia. nothing else just the xenia. with in two days i had a xenia free tank lol. if you have a xenia take over of your tank I highly recommend a majestic angle. never touched any other coral.

Emerald crabs. They say reef safe, but I've purchased them multiple times just to find out they would trap and eat my fish and pick at my coral.

I don't think it's intellectually hard. It's just too much work and commitment day to day.

Yes, That tank is worth every penny! No guessing about plumbing, buying the wrong fittings then having to go back to the hardware store. I have a SCA AQUARIUM 210-gallon Eurobraced aquarium. Starfire glass. Custom made aluminum stand made by Alufab had 6 leveling casters put on. Contacted Top Fin and had 3 custom acrylic lids made to keep all the fish in the tank. Lots of planing is involved. This is the biggest and nicest tank I've ever owned as well.

I remember learning about Symbiosis in nature when I took Ecology in High School and that concept still fascinates me to this day. Just the idea of two separately evolved organisms fulfilling their own niches and subsequently benefitting each other in a shared environment is so cool. It’s even cooler when you see examples like this of the Clown Fish and the Sea Anemones too.

Bravo, great video. having just shut down an acro dominated 80L tank to restart it monti dominated (wanted more variety), I agree, SPS are easier than LPS. No sweepers, they all take decent flow, they all take 100+ par. They are definitely easier to manage.

Trade your corals for tiny frags and let them grow out get high end for free

I regret buying a carpet anemone, it looked like a stalk of Broccoli…innocent but ate, stung/caused the death of over $600 worth of fish. The fish were dying and I thought I had a ammonia burns so I’m doing water changes after water changes until fish after fish. I realized it the anemone that was my enemy enemy. They had a very telltale burn until I finally saw him kill a trigger fish I bought all the silly little bugger did, just touch it now it’s enough within an hour. It was dead.

Every thing was swelled up , nurses was impressed . You funny 😂😂

Sea Urchins the biggest hoarders in the world !!!! never again, big mistake I ever made. Hermit crabs are ok, if you provide them empty shells that are big enough. Anemones nice to see but mine went suicide and got blended...

I had a pencil urchin which literally took over my 55 gallon tank. That little urchin did everything from murder a bunch of flame scallops by moving a massive rock on his own (breaking all their backs), to drilling a hole into the shell of my baby horseshoe crab and eating it. It was adorable but was responsible for so much death........ Flame scallops are beautiful creatures - provided you don't have an urchin to murder them. Sea apples are beautiful creatures too - not sure they belong in a tank however.

I have two little torches and I adore them both and I was able to get both of them for steals - $50 for the teensy one and $60 for the other. None of them are fancy morphs and I don't care because to me all that matters is that I personally really adore them.❤

I would be really interested in understanding how much maintenance goes into it. How often do you have to replace the syringes and needles? is it feasible to run no3/po4/ca/I on a daily basis for two weeks without having to replace/refill anything?

My problem is that i get too attached to my corals lol. I have a green kenya tree but I can't bring myself to cut and sell the babies because I'm so happy I have a coral successfully dropping heads and I don't want to get rid of my first, my smallest, or my biggest baby leathers.

Porcupine Puffers are great fish, provided you set up a tank for them alone. They're great company. We forget these are wild animals that live in a harsh world. Expecting them to play well with others is often a bad idea. Something I learned the hard way.

I actually appreciate that it is large. For someone who sucks at DIY, this means more space to work in when i need to replace something. When testers first started coming out, i thought the smaller the better. Then i had to work on it and realized there was barely any space for that.

Congratulations on getting an equipment review video done. I’m sure this was painful for you! 😂 I had no interest in this device, but it looks quite intriguing now. I do cringe slightly seeing 3D printed components on products like this though and that power supply box hanging off the side would drive my OCD crazy. I hope they continue to refine it, I’ll definitely follow along.
